Strength
What is strength? Webster defines Strength as the quality or state of being strong but what is strength to you? I want to share my definitions of what Strength means to me. Strength is the ability to fight your battles even when you don’t believe you’re capable of winning. Strength is what keeps a mother sane when she must provide for her children and she has no steady income, no resources, no family, no friends, just God’s word. Strength is to love the people who caused you more harm than good. Strength is to forgive the people that don’t deserve your forgiveness. Strength is what you have when you’re on the edge and life is coming at you fast, but you just can’t give up. Strength is when you keep going because you know that the storm will soon be over. Strength is making it through the toughest battle of life with a smile. Strength is that will power to not give up to endure because joy cometh in the morning. Strength is sensitive, but it knows its power. Strength is not vulnerable but it is in weakness. Strength is found it is not acquired. Strength is the ability to pick up the pieces that life has thrown at you and build your throne. Strength is the ability to praise God even when you feel like god is not listening. I found strength in God’s love for me. It has been plenty of days in my life where I didn’t have anything but strength and God’s promise to believe in. Strength is often shown in people that covers up hidden wounds. I was one of those people, but strength allowed me to let go of those wounds. Strength also allowed me to forgive, be free, and live in Peace. Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will. ~ Mahatma Gandhi
